Unlike cheap printed tinplate badges, this Custom Zinc Alloy Metal Pin is created through "Die-Casting." This means it can feature intricate 3D levels, cut-out effects, or be shaped exactly like your Logo contour.
This project features the "Color Fill + Epoxy Dome" process. We fill the recessed metal areas with vibrant enamel colors and finish it with a layer of transparent Epoxy resin. This resin coating not only protects the metal and paint from scratches and oxidation but also creates a gem-like dome effect. Under light, the pin appears crystal clear and premium. It is a piece of craftsmanship worthy of a suit lapel.
Besides the "Epoxy Dome" used in this case, we offer various processes to achieve different textures:
Soft Enamel (烤漆): The classic style. Metal lines are raised, and colors are recessed. You can feel the texture of the lines. Colors are vibrant.
Hard Enamel (仿琺瑯/Cloisonné): The surface is ground and polished flat. Metal lines and colors are on the same level, smooth to the touch. High-end, jewelry-like finish.
Epoxy Dome (波麗滴膠): A clear resin layer is applied over Soft Enamel or Printing. Provides protection and a smooth, domed look (Used in this case).
3D Die Cast (立體浮雕): No color fill. Uses the relief of the metal and plating (e.g., Antique Gold) to show shadows and depth. Great for portraits or buildings.
Offset Printing + Epoxy: For designs with gradients or photos. Printed directly on metal and covered with epoxy. Best for complex artwork.
